yes, the knickerbockers are showing signs of feistiness and not backing down....unfortunately the fight is with each other. The always testy nate rob versus the human black hole zach randolph, and while this is an interesting WWE match up, it once again illustrates the joke the knicks have become. Unmanageable, selfish, sullen, and worst of all apathetic. When does the bottom arrive so there can finally be some shot at starting over? i am afraid we still have a ways to go to knick fans, so hang on!

once again no All Stars for the New York Knicksand no hope

spree and allan houston. they were the last players to rep the knicks in the NBA All Star Game.......how can it be that Zeke has failed to generate one all star in his entire tenure? with the knicks salary capped beyond belief are we to believe that all of that mountain of greenbacks could not once produce at least one player who had a 1/2 season of impact........enough impact to be considered on the top 12 players in the east.......back up the truck on this team, keep lee, balkman and jamal crawford, they are a good core group to be 5th 6th 7th and 8th man material in a decent rotation, otherwise the knicks have nothing but garbage that the rest of the league simply has no interest in...wow...how has it come to this in " the mecca ".......Isiah has to be relieved of his bizarre tenure...bring in somebody...anybody with a broom and a slight idea how to construct a winning franchise...and i dont want to hear complaints about jimmy dolan, he has provided enough cash and let the basketball people do their jobs...they have simply sucked and now he has to start to right the ship by cutting loose a lot of basketball staff and administration that has fostered an era and feeling of losing, of becoming a disrespected joke of a franchise.

i am not a j kidd fan. he has always struck ( no pun intended ) this blogger as a phony and a front runner. he faked a migraine and skipped a game vs. the knicks this season to pout over a perceived insult of not being extended on the 40 million he has left to collect from the netsa...this after the nets have paid him over 50 million dollars already, during his stay in the meadowlands...for all his passing skills on the court he is still the self centered immature baby as he was when he rolled his 4 runner in college and when he jammed fries down his wifes throat! good riddance to this brilliant player, i will be rooting hard against the mavs if they pick up this guy, but he could be the piece they need to free up jason terry to produce points from the 2 spot without p

Can the Denver Nuggets of Carmelo and AI win the NBA Championship

Can Denver win this whole thing? Its not impossible. The level that the nuggets are operating at right now is fun to watch. AI, 'melo, camby, and k mart, wow, this is an incredibly athletic group to put on the court. The problem lies in the fragility of that unit both physically and mentally. Martin is an overly sensitive and injury prone forward who has shown sporadic flashes of brilliance in his injury marked career, (while never really delivering like a #1 overall pick should), same as he did in college. Diesel to the Suns makes or breaks Steve Kerr

Shaq has something left in the tank, not a lot but something. I am seeing the Diesel in a 20 minute a night capacity of optimum performance. This is his 4th and final act in the league now.... like when Walton joined the Celtics back in the day as a sixth man and redeemed his checkered pro career as a reserve on the Celtics 1986 championship team. Shaq will give them a little toughness in the paint. They had gone as far as possible with sean marion.....the risk is worth it. The fact of the matter is that nash can reinvigorate the big aristotle......look how good nash has made the guys on that phoenix in terms of boosting their on court efficiency and production....take a look at the numbers players had in phoenix versus their next team...ex: Q richardson of the knicks..

thats right sports fan, the hangover of the super bowl buzz begins tonight as the hometown knickerbockers take on the west coast knicks a/k/a the LA Clippers. the garden will probabaly have about 10,000 ( capacity 19763 ) on hand tonight to witness what may be one of the most meaningless games of a long, long NBA season. The clippers feature no Elton Brand ( achilles, ouch, been there ruptured that, it is bad, really bad ) and the knicks continue to spit the bit at crunchtime, as they competed in all 5 road games of the west coast swing but were ultimately defeated late in every game. curent clipper tim thomas, one of the most overhyped players in scholastic history who has made gazillions in the Association, yet still has disappointed every franchise in his career, except

11 Paul Harris and Syracuse Orange look like 10 NCAA Seed

This morning in the NY Daily News dick hoops weiss had the 'cuse as a #10 seed for march madness! Great news off a big victory at villanova led by paul harris. you gotta love PH this guy is all heart, awesome rebounder, awesome energy, tremendous finisher and having seen him in person at MSG the guy is just plain diesel, with an NFL type build. i always wonder why jimmy b. is constantly on this guy, i guess he feels this is the motivation he responds to. The 'cuse needs this guy to continue to produce like he did on saturday over the next 8 league games and the big east tourney. Being a die hard SU fan means one thing, you know they won't do it the easy way! they gotta have 6 at least 5 wins in the next nine games...they have the toughest games at the dome uconn gtown pitt and marquette.....

Hey Mets Why the nickel and dime small market BS Just pay the man

Why would fred wilpon attempt to nickel and dime the best pitcher in baseball and hold up the greatest deal in the history of the mets????? This is an owner who is waiting for the the revenue landslide a new stadium brings, which will be an absurd amount. With that in mind it makes cringe to see the mets play a lame song and dance over a few million bucks. There is no point to it. If the mets dont close this deal the franchise is a complete joke with a losing small market mentality. Fred just say, " ok, johan 6 years 150 million, are we good?" the little people will hammer out the details and away we go. Santana is only 27 and is now moving to the national league where instead of facing a dangerous DH 3/4 times a night he will face the opposing pitcher 3 times if he is typically going 6-7 innings. The trade is a steal, now seal the the deal, are you just happy to win the steak knives and not the Cadillac?
