Well, I'm back again for my belated follow-up blog and I'll tell you this - for the first time in a long time with the Knicks I have hope. I wasn't one of the clueless people that booed the draft pick last Thursday. I was there in attendance though and while I would have prefered Jerryd Bayless, I am now very happy with Danilo Gallinari as the Knicks draft pick. He is a 19 year old kid with all tools of one day becoming a ver good and even great player. Right now though, he's a project. And so are the Knicks.

As the free agent signing period begins, we must realize that the Knicks are not going to sign anyone of merit. They are looking for a cheap and short-term solution at point guard for the next 2 years. At the same time, Marbury's time in NY are numbered. I personally do not want to see him back and I hope he is waived in the summer. But he isn't the only one that needs to go. I would like to see half the roster leave as well but unfortunately that's not possible at the moment. If Walsh can get rid of Randolph, Curry, or Crawford this offseason for a shorter contract, he will be a miracle worker.

Continue reading "Draft free agency and more"

Well before I get down to blogging about the Knicks, I think it's best if I introduce myself. My name is George and I am a 19-year old diehard Knick fan who happens to reside in Astoria, NY. I'm currently going to school for a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at Pace University with the hopes of entering the Sports Management field in the future. I have previously written for a wrestling website titled steveswrestling.com (back when I used to watch wrestling) and even ran my own spin-off website called georgeswrestling, com for a while. Recently I have been writing for one of the best Knick fan websites on the internet - Knicks4Life.com. I'm not even saying this because I wrote a few articles for them. I'm just telling it how it is. I also recommend UltimateKnicks.com. But as for me and right now, I'm here blogging about the Knicks.
