Anthony Morrow Pushing For a Spot in 3-Point Contest

Georgia Tech product and current Golden State Warrior, Anthony Morrow, is pushing for a spot in the 3-Point Contest during All-Star Weekend.

Morrow, an undrafted rookie, was signed by the Warriors out of the Summer League, after averaging 18.1 points in seven games for the Warriors.

I had a chance to watch Morrow during ACC play against Virginia Tech during his collegiate career, and I knew he would be pretty talented. His shooting ability has transitioned well in the NBA, as he is currently leading the NBA in 3-point shooting. He has also earned the trust of anti-rookie coach, Don Nelson, who has started Morrow at shooting guard at times this year.

Morrow's competition are Rudy Fernandez of the Portland Trailblazers, and Mario Chalmers, an impressive rookie for the Miami Heat.
