Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen are among the elite at their respective positions, breaking records left and right. Individually, they have accomplished all that they possibly could. Each of those men were surely headed to the Hall of Fame, but they were all headed there with bare fingers. They were all headed there without closure. Until, that is, a sunny summer day in 2007. Talent partially aside, there is no way in the world that you could put those three men together and not win a championship. We're about 35 games into the NBA season right now -- nearly to the midway point -- and the New Jersey Nets and Milwaukee Bucks are holding on to the final two playoff spots in the Eastern Conference. With three older, veteran stars like Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce, you simply can't play the never-stop, always-hustle, dive-on-loose-balls-if-you-have-to style for two consecutive regular seasons.

Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett will have their hands full this season as many teams have improved their line-ups.

In the Eastern Conference, there are a couple of teams that made upgrades in their rosters and these changes will greatly affect the whole conference itself. The former rankings of the teams in the East will have a slight change due to the trades made in the off-season.
