Why aren't the Knicks doing something to better themselves this offseason?

Seriously.

The organization is so far up their butts looking into the 2010 season that they seem to care less about what is going on this year. Sure, they might be making all the right moves to give LeBron James the most money that is available to a player, but regardless of money, why would James leave when he won't have very many options around him.

1st round Draft pick in ’10 here we come. I need Eddy Curry to be resolved. Eddy Curry!!! He is still their, and we as outsiders aren’t sure if he even loves the game anymore. on the roster (besides Marbury), all of them will say Jerome James, Malik Rose, and probably now Eddy Curry. All of them have made piles of money and, besides a year or two of Curry, done absolutely nothing during their time in New York. All of them are fat slobs who have constantly infuriated a knowledgeable fan base. But what’s weird is the fact that James and Rose both possess the surnames of the two most sought after names that Knick fans crave – LeBron James and Derrick Rose. How weird is that?

ore moves that strengthen his team for the now and for the future.  If he can find a taker for Eddy Curry or Jared Jeffries, he can get this squad even further under the cap.  Or if he can find some young talent like Anthony Randolph, maybe he can lure an unsuspecting GM into a trade using Malik Rose's $7M expiring contract, or better yet, bring in an Amare Stoudemire type by dangling Stephon Marbury's $21M expring deal.
