in the zip codes of South Beach, it’s not going to happen! The Knicks can’t part with Stephon Marbury because they don’t have a better point guard to turn to.  Yeah it’s true they have wealth in point guards in Chris Duhon, Nate Robinson, Mardy Collins and the Summer League sensation Eric Roberson, and they all have qualities that are nice but “they ain’t Starbury” and in places where basketball is still played, that group is called a plethora of mediocrity, or fool’s gold.

Stephon Marbury don't fret, you are still the Knicks most electric, talented and impactful player on the roster- and it looks like it will stay that way for at least one last season. While Chris Duhon will make for a great backup point guard for the Knickerbockers, all stock has been put in the free agent Class of 2010...and rightfully so. Duhon received a 2 year deal, as to not get in the way of the courtship of Dwayne Wade, Lebron James or Carmelo Anthony in a few years. But Duhon offers more. Well, I'm back again for my belated follow-up blog and I'll tell you this - for the first time in a long time with the Knicks I have hope. I wasn't one of the clueless people that booed the draft pick last Thursday. I was there in attendance though and while I would have prefered Jerryd Bayless, I am now very happy with Danilo Gallinari as the Knicks draft pick. He is a 19 year old kid with all tools of one day becoming a ver good and even great player. Right now though, he's a project. And so are the Knicks.
