An introduction

Well before I get down to blogging about the Knicks, I think it's best if I introduce myself. My name is George and I am a 19-year old diehard Knick fan who happens to reside in Astoria, NY. I'm currently going to school for a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at Pace University with the hopes of entering the Sports Management field in the future. I have previously written for a wrestling website titled steveswrestling.com (back when I used to watch wrestling) and even ran my own spin-off website called georgeswrestling, com for a while. Recently I have been writing for one of the best Knick fan websites on the internet - Knicks4Life.com. I'm not even saying this because I wrote a few articles for them. I'm just telling it how it is. I also recommend UltimateKnicks.com. But as for me and right now, I'm here blogging about the Knicks.

Now Thursday is going to be HUGE. It's going to be one of the most exciting drafts for the Knicks since God knows when and I'll be there in attendance (with my camera). I can't wait. I'm really pumping myself up for this. I actually have a renewed sense of hope since that cancer Isiah got fired.

For now, though, I'll keep it short and sweet. Who do you want at #6 for the Knicks in this draft? I can't see Mayo falling and I'm iffy on Bayless. Guys that I want no part of are Eric Gordon, Kevin Love, and DeAndre Jordan. But I want to hear from you - the Knick fans.  What would be your dream draft? You can include trades.

Thank you and I'm glad to be on here blogging. i hope I can give you the Knicks entertainment in blogging you seek. Take care.

  1. werid coincidence...i too live in astoria, and i also went to pace. lol. I'm disappointed to say the least in our pick. I didn't want bayless either because his shoot-first mentality is not what the Knicks need in a point guard- last thing we need is another chuck. I do think we need a pg though(provided that steph gets the hell out of here), and at the 6th pick, the most reasonable man would've been the one that we let fall to 9th-d.j. augustin. He led Durant's team very well, and did an even better job the season Kevin left. If not a pg, we would've had to get rid of sloww ass eddy curry and pick up Lopez-but no, we let him slip to 10th. Don't get me wrong, I think Dalino is a very versatile, strong body. However, you can't analyze talent solely on individual accomplishments, you have to analyze how the player would fit it on your team. A foward is the last thing we needed (unless we're getting rid of Zach) because getting rid of David or Renaldo would make no sense. These guys hustle like crazy and fit in best with D'Antoni's system. Time will tell....
